Album : Dublin airport pre digital.


Air France Concorde 'F-BTSD' [Pepsi] taxies toward runway 10 for departure on a round trip for invited guests of the Pepsi Corporation.


The aircraft had arrived the previous day from London Gatwick. It was used by the soft drinks company in support of a major re-branding excercise. Its first recorded journey in 'Pepsi' colours was March 31st 1996 from Paris [Orly] to London [Gatwick]. Its final trip in 'Pepsi' blue was April 9th from Madrid to Paris [Orly]. In the interim it was seen in London, Dublin, Stockholm,Paris, Beirut, Dubai, Jeddah, Cairo, Milan and finally Madrid.


It was widely reported that its supersonic flight capability was limited to a maximum of 20 minutes endurance whilst in the 'special' colours. Its mach1 capability was un-affected.
