Description Air attack on a North Korean train, 1952: U.S. Navy planes (not visible) from the aircraft carrier USS Bon Homme Richard (CVA-31) fire rockets at a train, as it is about to enter a tunnel in North Korea. Note the heavy cratering and destroyed and damaged structures in the vicinity of the railway line, which crosses a bridge in the center of the photo. Bon Homme Richard, with assigned Carrier Air Group 7 (CVG-7), was deployed to Korea from 20 May 1952 to 8 January 1953.
