| Description |
English: Aisled House This is variously described as a wheelhouse, an aisled house and an aisled wheel house. It was excavated in 1951-2 and several artefacts were found, suggesting that it dates from the second century AD. Its position as shown on the maps is confusing, because the legend appears some distance to the north-east, beyond a raised area which can be easily identified but has nothing to do with the house. |
