Description
English: An Imperial Japanese Navy Zero aircraft (center, just right of water tower) over Dutch Harbor, Alaska during the Japanese air attack on June 4, 1942. This Zero, piloted by Tadayoshi Koga, was hit by anti-aircraft fire about this time and later crashed on Akutan Island, killing Koga. The plane was subsequently recovered by US forces and used for intelligence purposes.
