English: The Alanson Kimball house in Pine River, Wisconsin was built around 1860 for Kimball, a local merchant and eventually US Congressman. The structure at right is a gazebo included in the listing, and the reddish object in the foreground is a granite hitching post with the top broke off. The house was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
