Description
English: Creator: Unidentified.

Location: Albert Sports Ground, Bowen Hills, Brisbane, Queensland.
Description: On the 10th March 1890 the Brisbane River flooded, interrupting all telegraphic and postal business. The Brisbane River reached 18 above the level of the 1887 flood.

The Albert Sports Ground was located between Bowen Bridge Road and the Bowen Hills railway station and were originally established for cricket tournaments. The grounds were bounded at the back by Breakfast Creek.
