Deutsch: Albtrauf der Mittleren Alb, sowie geologisches Mitteljura im Alb-Vorland. Rechts: Ort Neuffen, darüber Burg Hohenneuffen. Hang in der Mitte: "Baßgeige", Teil der Albhochfläche von Erkenbrechtsweiler, unten: Ort Beuren; die Straße dahinter führt in den Ort Owen. Burg Teck im Hintergrund. Standort: Jusi, einer von ca. 350 Restvulkanen des tertiären Schwäbischen Vulkans. Die tektonische Bruchkante des Albtrauf ist durch Schutthalden und "rückschreitend erodierende Gewässer" stark zergliedert. English: „Albtrauf“, the cuesta of the Middle Swabian Alb, the foothills in front are geolocically „Middle Jurassic“. From right to left: Hohenneuffen Castle, at the far end Castle Teck. Viewpoint: “Jusi”, one of the ca. 350 tertiary volcanos of the Kirchheim unter Teck-Bad Urach-Complex. The cuesta is heavily eroded. |
