Summary edit

Description
English: Alder coppice, Stonebridge Meadows Warwickshire Wildlife Trust's interpretation board says that "Wet alder woodland is uncommon in Warwickshire…it is thought that the alders were planted in the 1850s to provide timber for clog-making…in an area that was previously an osier bed providing material for basket-weaving". The River Sowe runs behind it.
