Description
Latviešu: Aleksandra vārti (Aleksandra triumfa arka). Viestura dārzs Rīgā. Godinot Aleksandra I uzvaras pār Napoleonu, arku vispirms uzcēla aptuveni tagadējā Gaisa tilta vietā, Brīvības ielas galā, un kā pirmais tai 1818. gada 28. augustā izbrauca cauri pats imperators Aleksandrs. Rīgai modernizējoties, arka kļuva par satiksmes traucēkli, kādēļ 1904. gadā to pārvietoja uz Vidzemes šoseju pie Biķernieku meža. No turienes 1936. gadā to pārvietoja uz Viestura dārzu.
