Español: Pese al modernismo y a la creciente uso de tecnología que se esta manifestando en todas la áreas del quehacer humano, en Quezaltepeque aun se conserva la elaboración de la Cerámica "Alfarería" que es un arte manual en la que diestros artesanos quezaltecos crean verdaderas obras de Arte.
¿Como Surge la Alfarería en Quezaltepeque? Según datos históricos recolectados se afirma que para el año de 1895 Quezaltepeque posee en sus tierras gran riqueza de arcilla que llegó a esta ciudad don Francisco herrador con la Finalidad de establecer un taller en el lugar conocido como el Molino, tres años mas tarde procedente de san Agustín, llegaba a la ciudad el alfarero Pedro Argueta, a Fundar otro taller, simultáneamente don Mariano Ibarra abandonaba la ciudad capital para organizar en el Guayabal el Tercer taller del que se tiene conocimiento. Trascurre los años y acicateados por el hecho de ser la Alfarería una Industria que ofrecía muy buenas perspectivas económicas, los señores Silverio Juárez, en 1916 y José Antonio Portal en 1924; establecen grandes talleres constituyendo así a Quezaltepeque como el Centro Alfarero por Excelencia, cuya fama comenzó a difundirse en todo el ámbito nacional. Aunque la industria del plástico ha incidido notablemente en la elaboración de la alfarería, este es arte manual aún es patrimonio de algunos artesanos en la ciudad de Quezaltepeque.
