Summary
editDescriptionAluminium heat reflector with hole melted through by high temperatures.jpg |
English: Heat reflector made of aluminium. The hole developed as a result of heat that was above the melting point (above 600°C)of the aluminium. The liquid Aluminium ran down between the surfaces of the sheet, leaving a perforated very thin aluminium oxide film above. The liquid aluminium cumulated beneath the hole and bulged the surfaces that is recocnizable even after cooling down. The Aluminium didn't combust, didn't catch fire, didn't drip with burning drops and didn't produce smoke. Only the hole was revealed. |
