Description
Deutsch: Die Straßenlaterne am Lindener Marktplatz trägt am Fuß den Hinweis auf die Gießerei Tangerhütte. Diese Bogenlampe (im Volksmund Bischofsstab) ist eines der vier erhaltenen Exemplare, die im frühen 19. Jahrhundert für die damalige städtische Gasbeleuchtung gefertigt worden waren und 1977 am östlichen Saum des Lindener Marktplatzes zusammengeführt wurden. Anlässlich einer Restaurierung in den Jahren 2000/2001 wurden geringfügige Änderungen an der Verzierung vorgenommen. Es sind die ältesten (erhaltenen) Straßenlaternen Hannovers.[1]
