English: An ambassador delivers a letter of credence to the Queen.
Occasionally ... you may come across a procession of couches from the [Netherland's] Royal Stables. These are bringing a new ambassador of a sovereign nation to meet the Queen, to deliver their letter of credence. The ambassador will be received by an honor guard at palace Noordeinde [in Den Haag]. Today the Queen was expecting the ambassadors of Slowenia and the Ukraine, so either of these are in the coach pictured above.Deutsch: Ein Botschafter überreicht der Königin sein Beglaubigungsschreiben.
Gelegentlich ... kann man ein Schauspiel von Kutschen des [niederländischen] königlichen Hofes beobachten. Diese bringen einen neuen Botschafter eines souveränen Staates zur Königin, damit er ihr sein Beglaubigungsschreiben überreichen kann. Der Botschafter wird von einer Ehrenwache am Palast Noordeinde [in Den Haag] empfangen. Heute erwartet die Königin die Botschafter von Slowenien und der Ukraine, sodass einer der beiden in der abgebildeten Kutsche sein dürfte. |
