English: A horse-drawn buggy gallops along West Main Street in the village center of Angelica, New York on a November 2021 evening. Amish settlers began moving into Allegany County in the early 1980s, largely from Lawrence County, Pennsylvania, and today are a significant presence particularly in the northwest quadrant of the county.
