Deutsch: Amsterdam, Herengracht 136-134. In dem Gebäude Herengracht 134 führt nach den Ersten Weltkrieg Friedrich ("Fritz") Bernard Gutmann (* 15.11.1886 Berlin bis † 01.05.1944 ermordet Theresienstadt) die Bank Proehl & Gutmann, eine Tochterbank der Dresdner Bank AG. 1933 kündigte die Dresdner Bank den Vertrag mit dem Bankhaus in Holland. Fritz Gutmann ging pleite. Er war der jüngst Sohn des Gründers der Dresdner Bank AG Eugen Gutmann (* 24.6.1840 Dresden, † 21.8.1925 München), selbst Sammler und Sachwalter der Kunstsammlung seines Vaters Eugen. Fritz und seine Ehefrau Louise Baronin von Landau (* 24.04.1892 Berlin † 07.1944 Auschwitz) lebten seit 1919 im Huize Bosbeek in Heemstede, Niederlande. 1944 wurden das Ehepaar ermordet und die Sammlung geraubt. Das Kaufmannshaus in der Herengracht 134 wurde um 1750 für die Familie Van Beeck gebaut. Es hat eine Hausbreite von 6,50 m, eine flache Fassade mit einem geraden Gesims und vier Konsolen zwischen Leuchten, eine Balustrade mit einer Traverse in einem Bilderrahmen, einem Bürgersteig und einer Tür mit sechs Tafeln. |
