English: Power station "Centrale Hemweg" in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. In the front the 150 kV switching station, and behind that the two power units: unit 8, which is coal-powered, and in the back unit 7, which is gas-powered.
Nederlands: Centrale Hemweg, een elektriciteitscentrale van NUON in het Amsterdamse Westelijk Havengebied. Op de voorgrond het 150 kV-schakelstation, daarachter de twee productie-eenheden: eenheid 8 (kolengestookt, met rokende schoorsteen), daar weer achter eenheid 7 (gasgestookt, met stoom- en gasturbine).
Deutsch: Kraftwerk "Centrale Hemweg" des NUONs in Amsterdam in den Niederlanden. Im vorne sehen wir das 150-kV Schaltwerk. Mehr im Hintergrund (mit rauchenden Schornstein) Einheit 8, ein Kohlekraftwerk, und völlig im Hintergrund Einheit 7, ein Erdgaskraftwerk mit Dampf- und Gasturbine.
