Summary edit

Description

A rather pigeon faced raptor known for its love of honey, the bees along with wasps and hence its name. The bird is easy to id due to the pigeon face, but often confusing since it has many morphs. The bird is a winter migrant in India, and is also a visitor across much of north eastern and south eastern Asia.
