English: It's a year since McDonald's disappeared from Iceland, when the franchise was given up once the owner realised it would be cheaper to buy food locally. The three restaurants were renamed "Metro", but for a few months you could still buy a "Metro Happy Meal" with a "Metro Happy Meal toy" and a "Metro Flurry" ice cream in McDonald's boxes until the stock ran out.
