DescriptionAnalysis of the Imperial Japanese Army, 1904.jpg |
English: "Here are shown distinct types of the Japanese army. In her infantry the nation takes the greatest pride and during the march to Pekin the little dough boy outmarched the allied armies. The cavalry is the weakest arm of the service and it is not thought much reliance will be placed upon it, except for scouting purposes. The Jap's equipment is modern and up to date. He is lightly outfitted and moves with great speed." |
