Medaglia d'Oro Emilio Bianchi da Ancona.
Soldato del Genio sempre primo ove più grave era il pericolo, raggiungeva sotto violento fuoco la trincea nemica. Colpito da una granata avversaria, che gli asportava la gamba sinistra, con mirabile sangue freddo estraeva dalla tasca un coltello, e tagliando i lembi della carne sanguinante, alzava nella mano destra la gamba mozzata, gridando parole magnifiche di incoraggiamento ai propri compagni. Rivolgendosi poi al proprio ufficiale esclamava Viva l'Italia. Il giorno seguente a causa delle gravi ferite riportate perdeva la vita. Hudi Log - XXIV - V - MCMXVII
