Summary edit
DescriptionAnnual repair of the world's largest mud brick building the Great Mosque of Djenné in Mali. (32088227574).jpg |
The facade of this building needs repairing every year. Mud bricks seem not to be the most long-lasting building material. This is the third construction of this building, completed in 1907. The first version is said to go back to the 13th century.
