Summary edit

Description
English: The MacAskill family, of Inverkirkaig, Scotland, circa 1913 (estimate based on Jean Nicolson’s age, as per the original source). A crudely doctored version of this photo (showing a mismatching adult male face on the left side boy’s body) was contributed to Wikimedia Commons for unknown reasons (see file history), claiming (per title) to ilustrate Antônio Fialho de Vargas (upper left; indeed Murdoch MacAskill, who moved to Canada), founder of the town of Lajeado (Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil).
