| Description |
English: The first Retiro station building, built for the Buenos Aires to San Fernando Railway (then renamed Buenos Aires Northern Railway, finally acquired by the Central Argentine Railway in 1888). The building was located on current Av. del Libertador and Ramos Mejía and was terminus until 1873 when service was extended to Estación Central until 1897 when it was destroyed by fire.
Español: El primer edificio de una estación ferroviaria en Retiro, construído por el "Ferrocarril de Buenos Aires a San Fernando" (luego, "Ferrocarril al Norte de Buenos Aires", finalmente adquirida por el FC Central Argentino en 1888). El edificio estaba ubicado en las actuales Av. del Libertador y Ramos Mejía y fue terminal de la línea hasta 1873 cuando el servicio se extendió hasta la Estación Central, utilizada hasta 1897 cuando ésta fue destruída por un incendio. |
