Summary edit

Description
Chr.; 36,9 cm hoch; gefunden in Pikrodafni. Antikensammlung Berlin im Alten Museum, Inventarnummer F 2443; CVA Deutschland 62/Berlin 8, Tafel 9,3-5 und 10,1; ARV 1 640,94; ARV 2 995,118; Para 438; Addenda 1 152; Addenda 2 312.
English: Attic white-ground Lekythos by the Achilleus Peinter (attributed by John V. Luce). Scene in the women's apartment: Woman (? Servant) gives a wife (deceased?) their little son in the raised arms. Representation unclear, in research different views of the scene; possible: scene during the wedding (bride receives pais amphitales ) or scene in the women's apartment, with the woman standing as a servant would not necessarily be recognized or an allegorical scene on this for the cult of the dead certain vase in which a deceased woman gets her without his mother nonviable child handed over; Kalos inscription. About 460/50 BC.; 36,9 cm high; found in Pikrodafni. Antikensammlung Berlin in Altes Museum, Ascnr. F 2443; CVA Germany 62/Berlin 8, Tafel 9,3-5 und 10,1; ARV 1 640,94; ARV 2 995,118; Para 438; Addenda 1 152; Addenda 2 312.
