Português: O Forte de São Marcelo destaca-se por se encontrar dentro das água. É o único de planta circular no Brasil.

Também conhecido como Forte do Mar, quem for conhecer o forte pode apreciar exposições como Memórias do Mar, Memórias do Forte e Memórias da Cidade, além de conhecer um dos mais belos cartões-postais da cidade de Salvador.

No cume do torreão central, a primeira parte do forte, pode-se avistar toda a baía, da ponta do Humaitá à Barra.
