| Description |
English: Apartment block on the site of Cowes railway station. I came to this location with the aim of photographing the same view as 635063, although development of the area over the last 45 years and particularly in the last few years made that impossible. The area is now occupied by private apartments and access to the exact location of the earlier picture was not possible. This is as close as I could get. The rear of the older houses on the right can be seen on both photos and provide locational evidence. Cowes station signal box was immediately below the tallest of the group of older houses. |
