English: Aqueduct Street bridge, Greenbank, Preston This bridge carrying the West Coast main line between Preston and Lancaster over Aqueduct Street in north Preston, shows obvious evidence of having been widened from two tracks on the brick arches to four tracks on the steel girders. The street was so named because the Lancaster Canal once crossed it on an aqueduct, now demolished, behind the camera position. |
