Summary edit

Description

Alexander Pantages opened the first Pantages Theatre on Broadway in Los Angeles in September 1910; it was designed in the Beaux Arts style of an English music hall.

It was variously renamed the Broadway Pantages, Dalton's, the Telenews, Teleview, Newsreel and Magazine Theatre, and now plays store (the old foyer) and warehouse (the rest of the theatre) to the Audio-Visual Plaza electronics shop. The staff were kind enough to let me in back and upstairs to the circle.
