Description
English: Archeological Trench, Pond Field Excavated to examine the remains of a previously unknown Roman road which runs to the east of a former villa. At present the destination is unknown but the road may possibly link the junction of known Roman roads at Barcombe Mills which the Offham area to the south. See http://www.culverproject.com/projecthistorydetail.htm for more details.
