English: Armored Forces Memorial on the south side of Memorial Drive at the entrance to Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, Virginia, United States. The memorial consists of a main central polished black marble panel about seven feet high, on which are inscribed various types of historical armored forces of the United States. Extending on either side is a low granite wall, on which are inscribed various important conflicts in which armored forces fought. Units, battles, maps, and other information is inscribed here. This panel, from the western side of the wall, depicts maps from the Korean War. |
