THE ARMSTRONG NURSERIES ROSES The rose looks fair, but fairer were it deemed for that sweet odor that doth in it live.

I saw a rosebud ope this morn— I swear the blushing morning opened not more fair. —Cowley Franz Deegen. Specimen Blooms cut from our Field Duchess of Albany (Red Lafranee.)—-Kosy pink; very large and double. Fragrant. Grus an Teplitz.—The reddest of red roses. Bright scarlet, shading to velvety crim- son. As a bedding rose tnis is one of the finest and most useful varieties ever sent out. The freest grower and most profuse (See page 19) Grown Nursery Plants bloomer of any color produced foliage is very growth being a strong grower, summer. We stock of this page 2. October 15. everbloomer. The mass of is simply wonderful. The beautiful, all the younger bronzy plum color. A clean, Blooms through the entire have grown a very large variety. See illustration, 20
