Description
English: Arriva London bus VLA157 (reg. LJ55 BSU), a 2005 Volvo B7TL double-decker with Alexander ALX400 bodywork, operating London Buses route 159 on the last day of non-heritage Routemaster operation in London. It's pictured here leaving Stop M (Whitehall / Trafalgar Square), heading south down Whitehall in Westminster en route to Streatham Station, overtaking one of the Routemasters these VLA class buses were replacing on the route 159. VLA157 having been the first to enter service at around 10am).
