English: 4438, new to Arriva North West as 4424, was the last of the 09-plate ADL Enviro400s that I had yet to photograph, a feat that I've accomplished in only roughly six months!

4438 is seen in Loughborough turning into Garendon Road from Alan Moss Road with a service 127 to Shepshed. From this Monday, the service 127 had its route altered to use the route around Shepshed only previously used on Sundays all week, omitting stops on roads such as Tickow Lane and Anson Road, which I think is definitely not an improvement to service especially when that is the part of town which is being developed most intensely! The daily morning run of the 126 from Coalville to Leicester has been renumbered to a 127 and rerouted in a similar fashion (I don't know why that run went round the houses in Shepshed, to be honest), while the evening journeys of the 126 have been withdrawn and replaced with extra evening journeys on the 16 and 127, leaving the 126 to be consigned to the history books. The 127 now runs every 20 minutes during the daytime apart from at peak hours when four buses an hour are run.

Compared with ten years ago, the 127 has turned into a shadow of its former self, and for the first time, the Skylink is actually more frequent than the 127!
