| Description |
English: The two-story brick house at 33 Delaware Road is one of the most architecturally distinctive in Kenmore. Designed about 1930 by the firm of Bley & Lyman, its restrained yet unmistakable Art Deco details include a shallow-pitched roof with angular roofline on the façade, recesses or setbacks along the sides of the building, and vertical lines predominating throughout. Though originally designed as a doctor's office, due to zoning regulations it also included an apartment on the second floor. It was converted to a private residence in 1993. |
