Title
Arthur A. Denny locomotive, ca. 1920
Description

Seattle's first locomotive, the Arthur A. Denny, ran along the Seattle & Walla Walla Railroad. The individuals photographed with the locomotive are unknown.

Seattle Public Library identifies this as "Seattle's first locomotive, the Arthur A. Denny", but it doesn't look at all like it. It looks like a normal rail passenger car of its era, even if it says, "Arthur A. Denny" on the side.
