Nederlands: Artis, Amsterdam. In 1868 door de architect G.B. Salm in eclectische stijl in opdracht van Natura Artis Magistra ontworpen KANTOORGEBOUW(2), de zogenaamde 'Ledenlokalen' en hoofdgebouw van Artis-complex. In latere tijd deed het gebouw dienst als zoölogisch museum. Het gebouw bevindt zich in de ZW-hoek van het Artiscomplex, gelegen aan het kruispunt Plantage Kerklaan en Plantage Middenlaan. Van 1941 tot 1968 was het gebouw in gebruik als bevolkingsregister; bij de aanslag door de verzetsgroep van Gerrit van der Veen in 1943 verloor het gebouw de bovenverdieping.
