Summary edit

Description
English: Church of England parish church of SS Peter and Paul, Aston Rowant, Oxfordshire, viewed from the northwest. The church is 11th or 12th century, possibly on the site of an earlier Saxon church. The tower was added in the 14th century. Elizabeth I, when a princess, rode past here on her way to imprisonment at Rycote. The bellringers were put in the stocks for ringing in her honour.
