Description Swiss astronaut Claude Nicollier is pictured at the aft flight deck station which he occupied in December 1993 on NASA's STS-61 mission aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour. Among Nicollier's responsibilities was controlling the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm during operations with the Hubble Space Telescope.
