Description
Deutsch: Auf dem Gipfelplateau Silberen-Twärenen (2319 m.ü.M.) vom Karrenfeld des Silberenmassiv. Der Name Silberen kommt von der hellen Farbe des nackten Felses. Es handelt sich um eine in der Schweiz einmalige Karstlandschaft die direkt über den Höhlensystemen des Höllochs und Silberensystems liegt. Herausragend ist dabei das sogeannte Karrenfeld auf dem wir hier im Bild uns befinden. Es bildete sich vor allem aus Schrattenkalk, der vor vielen Millionen Jahren abgelagert wurde.
