Die Entwicklung

  • die Anlage für das menschliche Auge entsteht beim menschlichen Embryo sehr früh
  • am Anfang ist nur die einlagige Epithel Schicht vorhanden
  • daraus bildet sich eine blasenartige Wölbung (Linsengrube)
  • es bildet sich um das ganze Bläschen eine dünne Membran, die Linsenkapsel
  • später bildet sich dort wo das Auge am entstehen ist, eine Verdickung der äußeren Schicht des Ektoderms
  • diese Verdickung stülpt sich nach dem inneren des Augenbechers vor (so nennt man das werdende Auge in diesem Entwicklungsstadium)
  • deren Ränder wachsen in kurzer Zeit an der Einstülpstelle (so wird die Linsenanlage zum Linsenbläschen)
  • das Epithel (einlagiges Drüsengewebe oder Deckgewebe) geben der Linse ihre Festigkeit und ihre

Form

  • mit zunehmendem Alter verliert die Linse an Elastizität, gleichzeitig dehnt sie sich ständig aus: der Linsenkern wird mit zunehmendem Alter immer größer
  • so entsteht die Altersichtigkeit auch Presbyopie genannt
  • mit abnehmender Elastizität verliert das Auge seine durch Linsenverformung bewirkte Akkommodationsfähigkeit
