Description
Deutsch: Das Auracher Löchl hat seinen Namen einer alten Kufsteiner Bürgerfamilie namens Auracher zu verdanken, die seit dem 13. Jahrhundert in Kufstein lebte und dort eine Bierbrauerei betrieb. Der Grundstein des Hauses wurde im Jahr 1410 gelegt, als ein Stollen (das Löchl) zur Lagerung von Eis tief in den Berg getrieben wurde.

Die Geschichte des Auracher Löchl

Im Jahr 1448 wurde die dazugehörige Bierschenke eröffnet, die den Namen „Auracher Löchl“ trug. 1809 brannte Kufstein fast vollständig ab. Das Auracher Löchl wurde jedoch wie durch ein Wunder verschont.
