This media shows the cultural heritage monument with the number 17120 in South Tyrol.

English: Altar dedicated to the Sacred Heart in the parish church of Urtijëi build in the second half of the 18th century. The three woodcarved polychromed statues of Saint Monica, Jesus and John the Baptist are carved by Vijo Canins (1868-1946). The bas-relief on the side are carved by Albino Pitscheider and the carvings of the antependium are by Josef Welponer-Strëubl.
Deutsch: Altar der Herz-Jesu Seitenkapelle der Pfarrkirche St. Ulrich in Gröden zur Erscheinung des Herrn - Die Statuen der Heiligen Monika, Jesus und Johannes der Täufer sind Bildhauerarbeiten des Vijo Canins (* 1868 in Pedraces † 1946 St. Ulrich), war Schüler von Franz Tavella und arbeitete als Meister in der Werkstatt der Verlegerei Ferdinand Stuflesser-Petlin mit seinem Sohn Bernard (1895–1966), Schüler von Filip Noflaner.
