Description

We saw lots of avalanche aftermath. You can spot the avalanche chutes by all the bright green new growth - or in this case - the presence of lots of snow!

We had aspirations to make a hike up to Cascade Pass. Unfortunately, Cascade River Road, which leads to the trailhead, was closed about 2 miles away due to avalanches. Fortunately, we were able to do an great road walk.
