עברית: הרמטכ"ל החל בביקורו הרשמי במרוקו. הביקור נפתח בסיור במוזוליאום מוחמד החמישי והמלך חסן השני בטקס הנצחה, שם הניח זר מטעם צה"ל ומדינת ישראל וחתם בספר האורחים. לאחר מכן נועד עם שר ההגנה, עבד אל-לטיף לודי. משם המשיך למטה המפקח הכללי והתקבל במשמר כבוד חגיגי. הרמטכ"ל נדון עם המפקח הכללי, רא״ל בלח׳יר אל-פארוק, וראש אגף המודיעין, תא"ל בראהים חסני. לאחריו קיימו המפקדים פאנל אסטרטגי בנוכחות ראשי האגפים ומפקדי החיילות. במהלך הפגישות נדונו ההזדמנויות ליצירת שיתופי פעולה צבאיים, הן באימונים ובהכשרות והן במרחבים המבצעיים והמודיעיניים. הבכירים עמדו על הקשר ההיסטורי והתרבותי בין המדינות ועל שותפות האינטרסים במרחב המזרח התיכון. |
