English: Deteriorated surface of a reinforced concrete wall, after twenty years. This discrepancy is due to improper positioning of iron in concrete. this wall is under subway of Lille, near Boulevard Louis XIV in Lille (north of France). The seedling is a young budleia (Buddleja davidii)). This plant is invasive and introduced, pioneering and typical of urban wastelands and new habitats.

Mur de soutènement du métro lillois, près du Boulevard Louis XIV à Lille.
