lyvisible from all parts of the town. The approach to this build-ing is very imposing and beautiful. On the first floor are fiverooms devoted to the Junior High School of the TrainingDepartment. The Auditorium. This room, which will seat over a thou-sand people, is situated on the second floor of Institute Hall.It is comfortably furnished, and has recently been tastefullyredecorated. The acoustic properties are apparently perfect. Training School Building. Standing immediately in therear of Institute Hall is the Training School Building, accom-modating the children of the elementary grades. It has re-cently been refurnished and equipped for the most up to datework. The large, well-lighted basement is made use of bythe Industrial Arts department. Science Hall. Science Hall was erected in 1907. It aftordsmodern facilities for the latest methods of work in the sciences.The laboratories are large and fully equipped with the bestfurniture and appliances made. ^^ 32 B L O O M S B U R G for the work in the Biological subjects are located on the firstfloor. The laboratories for Physics and Chemistry are on thesecond floor. There are two modern lecture rooms, with lan-terns, screens, and excellent equipment for demonstration andillustration work. The third story has two large well equippedand attractively decorated rooms for the use of the two literarysocieties. There is also a large, well-lighted Art Studio. Inthe basement, which is mostly above ground, ample space isprovided for the Household Arts department. The Gymnasium. The gymnasium is a well-lighted andwell ventilated building, adequately equipped with all essentialapparatus, having a running track, baths, and a parcel checkroom. New steel lockers have just been added to the equip-ment. The Library.
