English: ORIGINALLY BUILT IN 1818 BY WILLIAM BARNET ON LAND WHICH WHICH HE PURCHASED FROM JOSEPH STIBBS WHO OBTAINED IT FROM PRESIDENT JAMES MONROE FOR $1/ACRE. LIVED IN BY THE BARNET’S, HOOVERS, BISHOP, AND LASTLY THE BLATTER FAMILY WHO BUILT AN AIRSTIP ON THE LAND. EVENTUALLY WAS ACQUIRED BY WAYNE UNIVERSITY BRANCH OF THE UNIVERSITY OF AKRON WHO HAD THE LOG HOUSE FAITHFULLY RESTORED
