Description
English: Difference in stability between a vehicle without and with AHK rear axle in an emergency high-speed lane-change maneuver. The image and contained graphs are not derived from accurately measured data and should not be interpreted as such. The image shows a simplified situation to help understand the influence of AHK on the stability during cornering. The image was drawn based on data and graphs shown during a presentation about AHK during the ClubE31 Europe Meeting 2007 Munich. The presentation was given by one of the engineers who was responsible for the development of AHK at BMW.
Nederlands: Verschil in stabiliteit tussen een wagen zonder en met AHK in een nooduitwijkmaneuver bij hoge snelheid. De afbeelding en daarop getekende grafieken zijn niet afgeleid van nauwkeurige meetgegevens en mogen ook niet als zulk geïnterpreteerd worden. De afbeelding stelt een sterk vereenvoudigde situatie voor die de invloed van AHK op de bochtstabiliteit moet verduidelijken. De afbeelding werd gemaakt aan de hand van gegevens en grafieken die getoond werden op een presentatie over AHK tijdens de ClubE31 Europa Meeting 2007 München. De presentatie werd gegeven door een van de ingenieurs die bij BMW verantwoordelijk was voor de ontwikkeling van AHK.
