Description
Nederlands: HEEZE/BABYLONIËNBROEK – Zondag 26 augustus wordt voor de 61e keer de Brabantsedag georganiseerd in Heeze. Dit jaar is het thema ‘Van Ravenstein tot Roosendaal’. Bij het thema hoort een lijst van alle 296 vroegere en huidige plaatsen in het Noord-Brabantse, van Aalst tot Zundert, en dus ‘Van Ravenstein tot Roosendaal’. Uit die lijst koos één van de wagenbouwersgroepen Babyloniënbroek om te verbeelden tijdens de parade.

Daarom vertrok er woensdagavond een bus vol inwoners van Babyloniënbroek om samen met burgemeester Fons Naterop te gaan kijken bij de wagen van Bouwerij Skôn. Hoewel de wagen nog niet af is en er zondag nog veel theater en attributen bij komen, zijn de inwoners van Babyloniënbroek nu al onder de indruk.

Ook wielrenster Marianne Vos reisde af naar Heeze om de wagen van Bouwerij Skôn te bekijken. Marianne Vos is sinds dit jaar ambassadrice van de Brabantsedag in Heeze. Dat Babyloniënbroek dit jaar vertegenwoordigd wordt in de optocht maakt het ambassadeurschap voor haar heel speciaal.

De Brabantsedag vindt plaats op zondag 26 augustus in Heeze en wordt vanaf 13.45 uur live uitgezonden op Omroep Brabant.
