English: Babylonian stele usurped by an Elamite king. Basalt, 12th century BC. From Susa.
Français : Stèle babylonienne usurpée par un roi élamite. Basalte, XIIe siècle av. J.-C. Provenance : Suse. Cette usurpation semble remonter à la dynastie des Shutrukides. L'orant original a été martelé pour être remplacé par un roi élamite : la figure retaillée du souverain élamite est en prière devant un dieu qui lui tend anneau et bâton.
